Unreliable Switch - Waste of Money

When I tried this automotive switch, it failed within a month. Despite claims of being an original equipment replacement, it lacked quality and durability. The only pro is that it was easy to install. However, the cons outweigh the pros, with a lack of reliability and durability leading to wasted money and frustration. I would not recommend this switch to anyone looking for a dependable replacement in their performance car.

Pros
  • High-quality original equipment replacement
Cons
  • Price may be higher than non-original equipment replacements

In operation without problems since November 2011

In operation without problems since November 2011. Installed in my 1997 Accord and has been working great ever since. So really recommend. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Relay
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Coil fell best in relay

Apparently they fit a 1992 Honda Accord. And they do. But the wire from the coil to the distributor is not the one that was on the car. The connection on the reel broke after a few thousand miles and thankfully I was able to just reattach it and ride. But the connection only seems to rely on the rubber holding it in place, not the positive metal-to-metal click. It looks like a flat piece of metal. Strange.

Pros
  • Ignition
Cons
  • Minor repairability
