Not impressed. on Toothpaste

I've been using the old version of this toothpaste for several years. Expensive yes, but it took a long time because you didn't need that much. Very thick and dense. This new formula contains xylitol and personally I'm not a fan of it. Also, the tube wasn't even full and I won't be ordering again for that price. That's very bad because they had a good thing and now that's changed. I messaged the company and was told they will not be bringing back the old version at this time. your loss.

New formula makes my teeth and gums hurt

So disappointing. I've been using Dental Herb's previous tooth and gum paste for about a year with amazing results - to the point where my gum recession has actually reversed. But after two weeks of using the new formula, my teeth and gums kept hurting. I've compared the old and new ingredient lists and it looks like they've removed the green tea, added xylitol, and possibly changed the ratio of some of the other original ingredients (e.g. don't rot). get the same scaling/brilliant smooth…

Problem for sensitive teeth

I have ordered from Dental Herb Company before and have been very pleased with the toothpaste product. I recently ordered this NEW Essentials Toothpaste as an alternative product as the original was not offered or available. My gums and teeth became very sensitive and painful after about a week of use. I ended up throwing it away. I think it's due to the addition of xylitol to the formula. Would NOT order again.

From wonderful to mediocre. So disappointing!

Why did you go from a formula that provided great teeth and gum health to a mediocre replacement? your deputy. Unfortunately, I had great but misplaced confidence in your company. I was happy to pay the premium for dental health. You have disappointed me. You disappointed my dentist. In his waiting room, we patients ponder why your once excellent company doesn't care about its customers.

Ruined a great product for profit

I honestly tested the new formula. And it's terrible. I have been using the original formula for many years, my dentist sold it to me. It got rid of a lot of gum problems and was a really healthy product. The company then switched to a cheaper version, diluting the original ingredients with xylitol and more water and liquid, and my dentist said it didn't work as well. Xylitol is actually a sugar. Imagine adding sugar alcohol to a toothpaste designed to remove sugar. And the drying effects of…

I'm disappointed in the changes they've made - I won't be using this product until it changes.

I have loved Dental Herb toothpaste and gumpaste for many years. No foaming agents, just medicinal herbs that have given me healthy gums and teeth. Then they went and ruined it and joined the stupid race to keep xylitol (something that kills dogs, so watch out your pet doesn't get your toothpaste!) in everything because it makes teeth so slippery microbes don't can be liable. . Xylitol gives me an upset stomach when I swallow candy or food, so I'm always careful with anything that contains it…
