Please more!

Plate spacing is too large for Okocat and similar sized litter, but scoop area is too small. My giant trays take far too long to clean. I would prefer to use one of my other scoops which catches a few larger pieces but can be used quickly and is better suited to larger cats with larger urine collections.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Inconsiderateness

Suitable for granular bedding, wish it was longer and stronger

Hand too close to dustpan and dirt. If you use a lighter pellet like tofu it will probably be comfortable in your hand but not very comfortable to use with heavier pine bedding and it flexes too much in my opinion. The price is not bad, it's just hard to find a scoop for filler in the form of granules. The front hook is very convenient.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect for pine pellet litter

Tried a few other scoops before finding this one to use with pine pellet litter. This allows you to pick up feces while the balls fall through. Then just throw it in the toilet. What makes it different is that the holes are long and narrow, allowing pellets to pass but not poop. Others I've found either miss both or neither, neither of which are great for writing pine pellets. On the small side, but totally serves the purpose and seems sturdy enough that I don't feel like it's going to break.

Pros
  • Good thing

  • No

Works with cat litter pellets the same size as cat jaws

This is one of the few cat litter pellets that runs on wood pellets (stable pellets, pellet stoves, etc.). Cat Pine came out and didn't think it was worth scooping? In any case. As others have said it has a hole in the handle which appears to be a weak point. However, the plastic is stronger than either of my last two utility shovels. There are molded parts in the handle to compensate for the hole. Plastic bends rather than breaks. But probably still able to crack rather than fold.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Large Wood Pellet Cat Litter Scoop

I bought this as a feeding scoop for use with Tractor Supply brand wood pellets. 3/8" slotted holes allow unused pellets to be sifted out, leaving only manure. Easy to clean. We use the shovel for two weeks. The scoop has a hanging hook on the side of the tray. My kitten has started playing with it so I keep it in a plastic bucket away from it. I first bought a cast aluminum shovel, but the wood pellets got stuck in the grooves. The metal spatula is only good for raking used sawdust pellets…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Functionality

Ideal for granular litter

Great for granular (non-clumping) litter: - Granules easily fall through cracks - Small size makes it easy to pick up cat poo - Still big enough to pick up a large pile of cat poo at once - Lightweight but feels quite strong - Cute cat ornament on the handle - Cute paw print on the hook - Great for holding onto my litter box I don't think this would work well for clumping dirt: - Too small to be practical for collecting large clumps of urine - Large slots would be too much Letting "crumbs”…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Expensive
