🔧 Aftermarket DEPO 330-50018-000 Replacement Tailgate Handle: OE Car Company Alternative Review

Perfect for a 1989 F250 but I'm not sure what year the actual tailgate is from as I replaced a tailgate from another truck. It was easy to install and was all metal. Also, it cost 1/3 the cost of plastic parts from the auto parts store.

Snaps in place and is held in place with two nuts. Easy to install and works like new. The OEM handle broke off one of the ears. This new one has a stronger spring and slightly thicker metal. Will survive my 1992 F-250 X

Where there are casting marks that I filed clean. That way I won't cut myself if I ever put my hands in it along the way. The decal could have been in a better place but that's ok, it's hard to remove under the handle. This is lighter built than the original. I was surprised to find this part on Amazon after the old tailgate handle on my 94 F150 broke. I found YouTube showing how to access the handle mechanism is quite easy. If you have a mat, you must remove it to get to it. Using a socket set I removed the two nuts holding the old handle in place (these nuts are NOT included so hopefully you can reuse them!)
