A bit difficult to find fitting fittings that didn't leak (could not supply fitting fittings) finally I managed to to test this cooler. Works well although it's still winter, fits well, looks good, with good finishes,
I use it as a transcooler on my Challenger Big Block with a modified 727 machine gun. First, it looks like a quality product and it works the same. My trance pace dropped noticeably. I have no doubt that this will prolong the life of my trance.
solid. I managed to stuff this bad guy into the front of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler to replace another, less well-made brand that cracked on the track. This thing is a giant Tankaurus Rex. If you have a room, do so. A must if you have a supercharged jeep.
Great radiator installed on my 2008 Suburban. Drove through the Mojave Desert with outside temperatures above 40Β°C. The transmission temperature has never exceeded 180Β°F. Amazing culinary achievement. Next up is replacing the factory radiator on my 2011 2500 Suburban.
I installed this on my 2016 Ford F-150 XLT with no additional transmission cooler. You will need a 10AN o-ring for the 8AN flare and then an 8AN socket for the barb. The hose from the existing radiator is 1/2 inch ID, so get a 1/2 inch hose as well. Installation couldn't be easier. Get the right gear oil and fill the radiator before installing the last hose and you're done. My transmission previously scored 232 with a trailer to go into the mountains on I-70 outside of Denver.
