Good quality thermostat made in USA - works great. The instructions can be confusing if you are not familiar with such a product. If you don't already have the included hardware, you have money upfront to buy a kit for a few bucks more. A hardware store at a hardware store will cost you at least $25. The thread is 1/2" pipe and not 3/8" pipe like some thermostats. You'll also need to make your own mount, but that's easy if you have the tools.

Having had this on my truck since late July has been one thing after the other. Started leaking from supply line within 2 weeks. took it apart, used more teflon tape only on the top of the threads, only 1/8 into the fitting so as not to break the threads. a month went by before it started leaking again, he came, resealed it, worked 2 days after that and it broke right in the middle where the thermostat is. Leaks severely even with Teflon thread sealant. The bypass function does not provide sufficient cold bypass. Just bad apart from the price. The threads inside left a lot of burrs and pieces of metal that break easily and damage the engine. No alignment of spring center inside. I am very satisfied with this product. Looks very well built and the optional bracket is good quality with stainless steel hex head screws. I went to the site to check the connection and found a chart (color chart) there that contradicted the instructions I was given with the stats.
