couldn't find a saddlebag for an English saddle that I liked when trail riding. This pad is perfect for my needs! I can put my leash, phone, sunscreen, and Gatorade in my pockets and leave room. The only improvement to this saddle pad would be if one of the pockets was insulated to keep my drink cool, but an insulated water bottle would accomplish the same goal.

The saddle pad appears to be well made. It fits perfectly with my old Wintec dressage saddle. I bought navy blue but didn't like the yellow piping. I just wanted a navy blue saddle pad with pockets. I had to rip a line (of two) of the stitching to remove the piping and then sew the edge back together. Looks great. The pockets are very useful.

The colors on these saddle pads are amazing but that's the worst excuse for a saddle pad I've ever seen – about half the padding is the least quilted saddle pad I have in the stable. Please don't torture your horse with just this pillow. Put it on a real pillow to make him comfortable, or wait and buy it in person where you can see and feel how cheap it is. The "fleece" section can be 1/4" thick when new. Classic Chinese manufacture, looks great, no quality.

I used this saddle pad with my Australian saddle and found it to be too short (front to back) for my full sized saddle. I packed a 16 ounce water bottle in each saddlebag and rode for about 3 hours. When I got home and removed the pad, my horse had a wound on the withers and rump where the pad cord had rubbed against his coat and skin. I would like to swap it out for another Australian diaper that is the right length, with no strings or abrasive materials to rub against the withers and spine…

Very satisfied with the product. Looks great on my horse and fits my 17.5 English saddle very well. The pockets are a good size and can easily hold water, snacks/treats and other small items when we go camping. I have several of these saddle pads that I use in dressage size for riding. They're beautifully finished, washable, and the pockets are large enough to hold a sandwich in a sandwich-sized plastic container and a small bag of ice (alternatively, a small bag of chips and a full-size drink would work). I used it for the first time yesterday on a long trip to the beach and it worked perfectly. My saddle stayed in place and on the pad and didn't slide forward or backward. I received the blue pickguard with a yellow border and it is very pretty. I received a few compliments on his good looks and questions about where I got him from.
