skinny not worth the money

only bought with exhaust wrap this tie is super skinny and didn't work properly. Not recommended, please look for alternatives.

Cons

As expected

I've used them on a 3" downpipe and a midpipe with header wrap and after 1500 miles it's holding up well. During installation they worked fine, no surprises.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Style 90

Is this user error? for spares

I couldn't get all four clamps tight on the top tube no matter what I did. I think it's user error haha, or are the zip ties only fastened up to more than 2" in diameter?

Pros
  • Pleasure
Cons
  • No mold required

DEI is great for broadcasting headlines

DEI is great for broadcasting headlines, but don't waste your time on it. They definitely didn't close for me. I ended up using lots of safety wire to keep my bandage in place. If you need stainless steel ties, you can get 10 a pack at half price at the hardware store.

Pros
  • Few competitors

Not as comfortable as I would like.

I love the design of these clips, they look nice and elegant. but they just aren't tight enough. I did EXACTLY as the instructions said and wrapped the excess metal band around the needle nose pliers, but the band just didn't get as tight. Tomorrow I'm going to buy some ugly old tight fitting bandages to hold my thermal pack. Too bad I like the way they look.

Looks good but not strong enough

If my rating was based solely on Revain's price, I would give this product 5 stars. However, the product itself is not as durable as I had hoped. And I have found that stainless steel clamps can be used in place of this product at half the price compared to them. The DEA product looks good, but it needs to be built stronger. In its current state, this product is probably more suited to something other than high-performance vehicles.

  • Handy
