Good but difficult to install

Good insulation but the instructions do not match how the application is actually run. I had to use electrical tape to wrap and seal the fuel line. Everything is fine on the spot. Hopefully this will reduce the occasional vapor lock I encounter on my old Mustang.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Useless Adhesive: Fuel System

The adhesive on the valve is useless. The plastic adhesive backing strip falls off comically when viewed. Under no circumstances will the adhesive stick to the foil. Better buy a crappy Summit Velcro thermal sleeve. So sad how the quality of DEI has dropped over the past two years.

  • Confident

Great product and quite flexible

Great product easy to install Other people who have used this product have had trouble holding the foil tape. I used an alcohol wipe and wiped the area where the foil tape would be attached. Other people probably don't. You should always clean the area so the tape you use for any type of PF application will stick. As they say, preparation is the main part before application.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No instructions

After spending an hour disassembling the car to get to the overheated fuel line, I found that the tape on this material would not stick or close. Duct tape is better than the glue you put on that shit. Yes, DEI, my hands were spotlessly clean and I didn't get any dirt or grease on the tape when trying to seal it. Don't waste your time with this product. You definitely wasted a lot of me.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Safety
