First, I used the embroidery hoop to stitch the design onto each block of the finished quilt. I started using the frame that came with my machine but it took longer than the design. So I finally broke down and ordered a magnetic tire. Doesn't matter! Very easy to clamp, holds blanket securely, works great. Putting the blanket on the bed of the machine takes some getting used to. The learning curve was short and I am very happy with the result.

Frame finally arrived. I made it because I finished the project while waiting for the frame. When I contacted them they said to speak to my mail. So my postmaster spoke to another postmaster who was trying to get my package. It wasn't the Post's fault. Anyone who has ever sent my frame got my name and mailing address correct, but the city, state, and zip code were nowhere near the same. That's a big deal. It took a week and a half to call the postmasters. I was more upset that they didn't even…

This tire is amazing! I used it to create a continuous embroidery design the length of a full size quilt and it didn't move at all. I didn't have to remove the hoop from the machine, just remove the top of the hoop, slide the quilt up and line it up, reattach the top hoop, and start embroidering. So easy! I'm amazed at how strong the magnets are, I have to break the hoop! The only complaint I have is that it comes with an adhesive tape that needs to be placed on the top ring to show the center…

This makes hooping much easier and can even make re-hooping easier while still on the embroidery arm when quilting from edge to edge. I used it twice on the Big Dream record and both times the comforter slipped a bit. I don't think this will be an issue when using edge-to-edge, but when using IQ the shift was noticeable. I gave it a second try and it changed too. So when I quilt with IQ I stick to my regular hoop, but for projects that don't use IQ I think this will save a lot of time. That…
