🔧 Detroit Axle - Complete Front Control Arm Replacement Set for 300 Dodge Charger Challenger Magnum - 16 pc Kit Review

The kit contains everything you need to replace a worn front end except struts and springs. All parts fit like OEM. I swapped the struts right away and the Magnum Clunk was gone. The steering is also factory. It took me and my son about 12 hours to complete the project. We had to rent a ball joint press tool, but other than that, no special tools are required.

There are decent quality components in this kit. The only issue I have with the parts is the stabilizer link locknuts as they are so tight that they actually ruin the threads on the studs. Three nuts were very tight, and the fourth nut actually jammed halfway to the point where I had to cut the new sway bar connection with a flashlight, rendering the new part unusable. The rest of the components installed with no problems.

I bought this kit for a good price and it replaced everything I wanted. In August 2018 they assembled the front end. The wife complained about the noise which had gotten worse over the past few months and I took it to the mechanic to find that both lower ball joints were shot through. and the bushings above are also bad. All other parts are checked as good. I don't see any warranty information so I think I'm pretty confused at this point.

My 16 piece set was originally a 10 piece set. After several frustrating phone calls over the course of 3 weeks it was finally decided (not by me but by DetroitAxle) that I had originally ordered a 14 piece set - apart from having the receipt and all other transaction records (I'm pretty sure sure they do too). Anyway, the long story is annoying - I'm pretty sure I won't be able to order KFC for at least 6 months as after this saga I often had to use the expression "10-14 and 16 pieces"…
