I have an Einhell angle grinder that I love very much. And the key that came with the kit is complete garbage. This wrench is longer, which allows me to use more leverage and tighten the washer. The wrench is suitable for angle grinders of almost all brands. There may be larger industrial grinders that won't work with this wrench, but it will fit every grinder I've ever owned.
I can't imagine anyone using it because the adjustment screw is so long it sticks out at the pins. This will lap the screw against the tool and prevent the pins from going all the way into the sockets so you can't apply force to it. This can of course be corrected by bringing the grinder up to the adjustment screw and removing about half the length to shorten the screw, but this improves the quality of the tool. It just won't work if you don't trim the length of the adjustment screw first.
This wrench was unusable at the time of delivery. The set screw that holds the pivot pin in place is too long causing it to hit the body of the angle grinder and preventing the pins from adjusting properly. Once I sawed the screw to the right length, it worked fine, although it was a little fiddly to get the two pins the right distance apart. what it is for and how it is used. A quick look through the related items section of the Revain page revealed another similar wrench with the correct set…
