DeWALT DCB115-QW 1F5ED Universal charger that is suitable for different battery lines. It seems to be normal for small batteries like 2Ah. Large ones are still better to charge either the DCB118 charger or somehow cool it (for example, put a fan nearby).

There are no alternatives, you have to put up with the stink. Such a pace. And the smell is not normal for electrical appliances, most likely it will not last long. _02202222 To reduce overheating of the charger, I installed a small cooler 30x30 24vdc. through the thermostat.

Pros
  • Brand
Cons
  • Price. It is heated and stinks strongly, strains.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Bought for 2700. If the toad did not choke, I would overpay about 1200 and buy 118. And so, while a few months the flight is normal. Its pros: Relatively good quality charger. Can be hung on the wall. For weak batteries, that's it. It does not make noise, since it does not have a cooler, as in 118. With its cons: Takes a long time to charge FLEXVOLT batteries due to their high capacity. For these purposes, it is better to take 118 charges.

Dewalt DCB115 B4B19 Bought together with a circular saw for a 5A battery. The battery charges in a little more than an hour, which is very cool, especially if you are building and there is nothing else on the site except for a pole with a shield. Sawed, charged in an hour and again into battle. During this hour, I smoked a cigarette. It heats up, it heats up like hell. It is necessary to call for a pyrometer and measure it when it charges. But there is a 3 year warranty. I'll add a photo with…

Pros
  • Suitable for batteries from 10 to 18V. 4A charges the battery in flight. Warranty 3 years.
Cons
  • Warming up. It heats up like hell.

I have been using it for about three years, the main rule is not to charge the batteries one by one, you need to take a break between charges for about 30 minutes, although it used to charge two five-ampere and two-ampere batteries one by one several times there was a need then it warmed up decently, even the smell appeared, but while it works, I try to adhere to the rule

Pros
  • Charges fast enough
Cons
  • You can not charge five-ampere batteries one by one, you need to take a break between charges; it heats up

Great price, works fast!

"Lost" charger while driving. It's amazing how things like tools and drill chargers disappear when a mover (Aloha Island Movers in my case) moves your home. I packed my drill in a chest before moving (according to experience), but I didn't pack the charger😡. Turns out you need a charger to keep using the drill to assemble furniture. It was a good price, fast delivery and fast charging. I love Dewalt! Cheaper than any of the DIY sites.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Appearance

It Just Won't Work: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

It Just Won't Work. I put an almost new DeWalt 20V Max battery in the charger and it starts charging (red light flashing). After a few seconds, the red light will remain on, indicating a full charge. The battery is not charged, which is indicated by the "Fuel Gauge" LED on the battery and the motor speed when inserted into the tool. I tried charging 3 separate batteries - all almost new - which worked fine last week - with exactly the same results. I'm traveling and forgot to pack my charger so

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • Repair

This is the latest (as of 2016) charger for everyone.

This is the latest (as of 2016) charger for all Dewalt 12v and 20v Li-ion batteries including DB200, DB201, DB202, DB203, DB204 and DB205 , but will not charge his old nickel-cadmium batteries. As an engineer, I was curious: it draws less than 1mA with no battery inserted (actually less than 250uA, which is the limit of my DMM), meaning you don't waste appreciable current by leaving it plugged in all the time; This is not an energy vampire. It uses a switched-mode power supply, making it as…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
