The product is very low quality, not what you need at all.

I will never take Dewalt equipment, I bought wood drills, so it turned out that the tip of the drill describes a circle, instead of being in the center. The mind is incomprehensible just mega lol! DeWalt, how is it? Never Again!

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Drills worse than the default noname "forstners" from China for 200. No sharpening The milling of the shape and border is terrible Painting to hell None of the edges turned out to be sharpened in any way, in principle, they are all simply cut out in shape and that’s all, but not sharpened. And on those edges where sharpening should be - it is rough and with notches. See photo before use.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

All other cutters vibrate, there is no way to drill normally. I bought a cutter for concealed mounting of an outlet box in a log. Unlike cup drills, here the wood is selected all by volume and there is no need to with a chisel. Has some pros: Workmanship, one solid advantage. Excellent cut. Pleasing to the eye both visually and in operation. Compliant at work. First drills, cuts the edge. Then choose the volume. Cons: do not see if only the price. But here, as they say, a great thing cannot be…

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

I tried it on a lathe, drilling bowls - it’s hard to go into the end of a birch, the Corvette 74th doesn’t pull, I have to remove the guide cone so that it doesn’t drag the drill into the material and drill a teaspoon per hour. But in pine and across the fibers it goes with a bang. So his element is socket boxes in log cabins. Well, a drill is needed from a kilowatt.

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

To work with this crown, I use a 1 kW drill with two speeds - the smaller one in power will simply burn out with it, maybe someone uses a fixer drill, but at low speeds it only works while it is very sharp you need to drill very carefully - if you bite, then the drill will pull so that it twists your hands and fingers, every time I approach it with fear) in general, you can’t drill sockets in a wooden house differently - but the crown is not from the series for the “home master”

Pros
  • makes a hole for the outlet right away - no need to select leftovers
Cons
  • you can easily twist your hands if it gets stuck, because you need a kilowatt drill to work with it. a crown for those who are physically developed (I wrote another word here earlier, but said that it grieves them) - this is not for you to make a hole .
