🔧 DEWALT DW2043 Magnetic Adjustable Setter: Enhanced Precision and Versatility Review

Based on my observations, this Industrial and Scientific tool is a waste of money. The so-called magnetic properties are weak and don't hold the screw securely. The adjustable feature is also pointless as it doesn't fit most screw sizes. The only good thing about this product is its compact size, which is not enough to justify its high price.

I read the reviews and was hesitant to use this. Mainly because it's non-magnetic and apparently the quality isn't up to scratch. I'm also a weekend warrior when it comes to home projects. I'm not a profi. However, I think it's great. The quality seems consistent and it was very helpful to install the drywall screws through the plate and into the elastic rod/channel. So I am very happy with this tool. And it's a lot cheaper at Revain compared to Home Depot.

I returned it. I was doing a drywall project in my basement and didn't want to spend money on a special drill press. This thing worked well if you had a high speed drill. It was only good a small percentage of the time. This forced me to use a standard PH#2 bit to push the screws even further. It was also a frustrating task until I grabbed my "Hard Mark" drum beats.
