Couldn't grind the end of the bolt

The first and only time I've used this so far was to grind the end of a 1/4 inch bolt that was sticking out through the end of a piece of wood . I didn't make any progress with this grinding attachment.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not bad

Something went wrong with this drill wheel.

The drill only lasted 10 minutes before it wore out completely. There's something wrong with that. The top layer of the wheel is removed during use. They sent me a replacement and I called Dewalt to give them the specs of the drill. This is not how you should shave.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So far so good

Choking hazard but so many uses for one tool for less than $3!

You never know when you'll need to roughly sharpen a blade or file a nail, this simple sharpener can do almost anything. Edges are sharp and parallel, works with both hex shank impact wrenches and traditional drill bits. Grinds, smoothes, cleans, roughens surfaces, can't be wrong. Looks pretty weird, Revane calls it a choking hazard like it's not obvious enough.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not the best

For aluminum only good for finishing touches

This is a good product, does what it says it does but you need to know what you are getting. With aluminium, it is only good for the finishing touch and is quickly covered with it. There is a black rasp-like grinder from the same brand that does a much better job of sanding cast aluminum. In fact, this product will last forever if you just do it but leave ridges. This is where these products come in.

  • New
Cons
  • Speed

Back to the Whetstone

A couple of drywall screws were called in for the Halloween project. But their tips protrude 1/8 inch from the wood, so I bought this wheel to sand them flush with the wood and eliminate point hazards. Remember that scene in the Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll" where Dad unsuccessfully tries to decapitate a doll with a table saw? It was like this. Completely defeated. Regardless of the speed or pressure on that grinding wheel, it couldn't remove even a small amount of metal. I ended up using
