Easily drills through two 1/4 " thick metal truck bumpers

This hole saw easily drills through two 1/4" thick heavy duty truck bumpers that I needed to install a heater block for sockets in it. After this task, the hole saw still looks like new. I used a lot of Tap Magic to speed up the process and save this tool for future use.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Broken, Used and Unusable

Very disappointed that my project requiring the ability to drill a 1 inch hole in a steel door is being delayed due to Revain sending me this tool complete with 2 out of 4 tungsten teeth hat It's broken. It has scratches from being put in a drill and other scratches from rotating through what cut it. Someone broke it and returned it as new and unused. Baaad!

Pros
  • Hole Saws
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

I cut 3/16 inch aluminum sheet. It's a good hole saw, but the notches are cut incorrectly - no material is wasted. So I have to stop after about two turns with the saw to knock the aluminum dowel out of the hole. It's also always the same dimple. I marked it and yes it's the same dimple every time. In these indentations the material will come out. (seems easy to me). I've tried slicing butter (normal) and drying it (to see if the butter makes it stick), with the same results. I also tried…

  • Hole saws and accessories
Cons
  • Very expensive
