Must be! suitable for hand tools

Great hammer. should be in the tool box! It even has a magnet on the top of the hammer head to locate the nail so it doesn't get lost.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something different

Dewalt does it again

Read some reviews and laughed. Spend my days swinging that hammer That's cool! If you're embarrassed by the "vibration" then hold it the wrong way and wave it. Rschunimagu

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • No performance

Great Product - Hand Tools

I'm not a professional and have had ordinary hammers in my life. This one is different, much more balanced, easier to use, safer and most importantly makes you want to do a few projects.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Almost Never

Good on the wallet, not on the elbow

Good price, right nail set. Much better made than 14oz frames. I'm a union carpenter and after a good day on the job my elbow hurt. Due to vibration. I'll leave this hammer at home where I won't swing it much. But for the price, it's a better hammer than Dewalt's $60 hammers.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unreliable

Good hammer: cam hammers

This fall I helped my son build a house. I'm a retired engineer whose HR experience ended under Carter's admin. I bought this hammer to make it easier to hold than my collection of wooden-handled hammers and axes. I found this hammer to be well balanced and in fact more comfortable on my hands. This is the second one I've bought as my son seems to have liked the first hammer as well.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Appearance

If you're choosing between hammers, take these

I work with concrete. This hammer is amazing. He does everything I need. This works well with wood. It works well when pounded into concrete. Works well when hitting metal. The forks on it are long, so it is very easy to take out nails with them. I remember my dad in Whitecap buying an 18 ounce Dewalt for $60 and my Dewalt mallet for $50. My mallet ended up cracking against me as I took the molds off, so I took these. $30 is a STEAL.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Love this hammer, it's comfortable and professional

What a great carcass hammer! I've always had the standard hammers you use for hanging pictures etc and have always used them for projects large and small around the house but nothing beats the Dewalt 22 OZ. It feels very balanced and its weight effortlessly hammers nails and anything that needs coaxing to move :) I can't say it enough and am very pleased. I wish this was a Revain Prime item to get free 2 day shipping but I'm still very happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. Thanks

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

lightest hammer to use effectively

This percussion tool has a large textured head that is essential for hammering fasteners. You must not hit your hand with it, otherwise a large flap of skin will tear. The all-steel handle doesn't seem to cause tennis elbow, but the rubber falls off after a while. The claw is very effective for pulling nails, but my specimen was a bit soft, so one claw was slightly bent. I heard Stanley bought Dewalt. This makes sense as the hammer appears to have been well designed and then made with the wrong

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete
