I had a DWST08202 tool box with a clear lid that sat on top of a large tool box about 18 inches off the floor. I hit him and he fell. The handle broke. pen, but DeWalt does not sell it as a separate item. DeWalt just replied that I can return the whole box to them and they will appreciate it. If they believe it is a manufacturing defect they will replace it. Needless to say I didn't, I will be sending it back. I just see it leading to frustration and shipping costs on my part. I bought this cooler I would say a month or so ago. Using it as a simple "tool box" full of tools will not work. The handles (ALL three) will not be strong enough and will break - as many people have said! With an additional "car" this works wonderfully. I needed it for power tools and bulky light electronic items as "GO KIT". The weight added very quickly with minimal tools and supplies. This is a really good tool box. It has a rubber coating that makes it waterproof. It even has an air valve that you can use to open and close it so your items have some ventilation.
