DEWALT DWV2759 Extractor Accessory Piece Review

This is a great little package that comes with my 8 gallon vacuum. The adapter connects easily to the end of the hose. I would buy this again.

I really liked this accessory for my mobile dust extractor. They are very well built and a great addition. I don't know why they don't lock her in the car.

Returned this unit. I found out that not all Dewalt vacuums are made by Dewalt. This kit will not fit DVX09 (number may be incorrect). When you buy a Lowes Dewalt vacuum cleaner. There's nothing wrong with that, it seems well done, it just didn't add up.

Works great, nice to see Dewalt realize they need a 'system' that works with more than two tools. If you've ever used a regular 2-3 piece straight handle for sweeping, you'll wonder why you waited so long to buy one and realize how much time you've saved now.

Plastic coated metal tubes easily disassemble during use. Metal tubes will scratch any surface they touch if used alone. The quick connector to the hose comes loose during use, as do all pipe connections. Very frustrating. Looks nice and shiny but doesn't work very well. Buy an adapter and cheap plastic tubing and tips and you're ahead of the curve.

I use this kit with a Dewalt 8 gallon vacuum (dwv010) for house maintenance cleaning. That works fine. However, there are moments when a little more sophistication would be desirable. All parts of the kit are friction-locked together so it is obvious that they will move apart under heavy use. And when I say all parts, I mean all. I even separated the gateway adapter from the used corner chrome piece (once). This is my main complaint and the only thing stopping me from giving this accessory set…

First off I have to say that it's nice to buy something that actually has metal in it. The only downside is that you have to be careful not to step on and drop something on the pipe sections as they deform quite easily. This is a really good product, but I find the price too high. . I need to find a common set so I don't have to pay for the De Walt name.

Great addition to my Dewalt mobile dust extractor (not a shop vacuum). There have been several reviews that have questioned the value of this accessory and I can only assume that it is a Dewalt Shop vacuum and not a Dewalt vacuum (DWV012). The tools are useful, fit snugly and the chrome pipe is oddly reminiscent of my childhood. My only regret is that there is no pocket or a way to store it. I made something that ended up being worth more than the tools themselves.
