DEWALT Impact Socket 7 Piece DWMT74737 Review

Excellent deep sockets. I needed a 22mm socket for my Buick Enclave and my GMC Sierra so I saw this product and got the whole set because I couldn't beat it for the price.

Nice heavy socket set for deep hitting, just what you would expect from Dewalt. However, the kit did not include a 13/16 inch socket, the size most car nuts require! I bought the right size from Master.

Bought this to install the suspension on my MK6 GTI and together with the wireless damper it did all the job I needed! As always, DeWalt did not disappoint. TIP: The compartment with sockets can be pulled up and you can install other sockets in the empty spaces below.

The wall thickness of the head is as expected of a 1/2" head so no complaints. Beans so don't keep them until after use My only gripe is the oversized carry box which could have been significantly smaller considering there isn't much room in any tool box.I plan on buying Next.I put SAE in but I want the dimensions are more complete and uninterrupted.

In fact, I've had master technologists in my workshop commenting on how good my tools compare to theirs. However, these shock heads are a bit disappointing. I had to loosen the nuts several times because they were too tight. It's not usually a problem, except that when I borrow another outlet to finish the job, their port freight kit (much cheaper) doesn't get stuck…

Socket wall thickness is what you would expect for a 1/2" socket, so no complaints. They get hot when you hand the beans to the driver, so don't grab them until they've cooled after use. My only one Criticism is the oversized carry case which could have been significantly smaller given the toolbox I plan on buying an SAE set next time but wish the sizes were more complete with no gaps.
