DeWalt DW705 12 " Miter Saw Replacement Handle

I replaced the Dewalt D750 12" miter saw handle with a DeWalt DW705 miter saw replacement handle, it was broken. The suggestion is to swap out the trigger switch as well and take a picture of how it's wired/connected before disassembly. Easy to install and works great.

Do it yourself! in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

This item required two minor modifications to fit: 1. into the cord holder. It was too small and 2. Two tabs had to be removed at the top. My switch fits perfectly. I'm ordering one based on a recommendation from a previous review and now I can't return it! $10 down the drain.

Fits perfectly. Excellent price.

Broke the desalination saw handle when it all fell off the workbench. Oh shit! But these parts fit perfectly, and it only took 15 minutes to install. No screws or other DC or mounts are supplied, so make sure you save them from a broken grip. And a good price compared to original Dewalt or other OEM dealers.

Works great but also buy a new switch

This is a replacement grip for my Saul which broke due to age. I was so glad to know I could replace it instead of throwing the saw away. It took about 40 minutes. Make sure you get the new switch that comes with it, it's a little different from the original and the old switch won't fit.

Reasonable replacement

The DW705 handle is inherently defective. It is thin and breaks for the second time. It is nothing more than a trigger grip that does not carry any weight. The black handle above it is meant to carry the weight, but all too often we make the mistake of being careless and try to lift it by the wrong handle.
