Weight and balance are not easy to grasp in the palm of your hand

Like not having to fiddle with the power cord. Be sure to buy a dust hose connector which is not included (really DeWalt? I have to buy a separate fitting to connect the grinder to the hose!). I don't like the balance due to the weight of the battery and the dust outlet, both on the same side. Maintaining consistent contact between the pad and the workpiece requires a firmer grip and downward pressure, resulting in wrist/hand fatigue.

Excellent mill.

Excellent Sander. The dust collector works well, about as well as the others I've used. I currently do most of my sanding work on a sanding table in the workshop so dust isn't a problem but I've paired my home vacuum to this and it works great in that regard, but the commutator will suffice in a pinch. Eats batteries. I have found that when one battery dies the other is just charging and I go into a rotation process throughout the project. I bought this for small projects so it's ok. If I had a

Random Orbital Partner

If you don't mind grinding for hours, cordless grinders are the best choice. While I prefer the simplicity of a random orbital sander with pre-made velcro pads, your options are limited. This is where the good old palm leaf grinder comes into play. While it requires a bit more tweaking, trimming the sheet of sandpaper and punching holes for dust removal (optional), it offers many more options. up to 220 or 320 grit at most stores. However, you can find up to a thousand grit sandpaper, which isโ€ฆ
