This board handles juices and liquids from chopped bait very well. Bought as bait for fishing. It withstands very sharp knives well and prevents liquid (blood) from splashing onto the boat. Easy to clean with a simple dip or spray. I would definitely use it in the kitchen too.

My husband grills a lot so he likes chopping boards with raised sides to keep the meat juices on the board (easier than balancing something flat and hoping for the juice drains into the grooves). This board isn't flat though - the underside curves down and the legs of the board aren't big enough to hold it up on the counter so it slips when trying to cut something and is really useless for cutting anything. Damn.

Great, no need to flush liquids off the table after the grooved cutting board overflows. Also, this replaces two items (cutting board and serving platter), I did not find the issues mentioned in the one star reviews. The Dexas Chop & Serve cutting board lies flat on the table and does not move when cutting. It would be great if the manufacturer made the same product in a few different sizes to accommodate smaller meats and poultry.

I have this to carry meat off the grill and be able to slice meat on it. I see other reviews complaining that it has a raised rim (so it looks like a shallow bowl) that can catch your knife. TRUE. but it is also large enough that this can be avoided. And I wanted the lip to contain meat juices. What makes it great. Great cutting board and server. I use it to cut everything including veggies, fruit and meat. It is very durable and easy to clean. It is also great for serving dishes and allowing meat to rest after cooking. So far there are no traces of cut objects on the surface. It might not be as pretty to see as a wooden cutting board, but I hide it behind my wooden countertop and it looks great. I would highly recommend this cutting board to anyone! I had never heard of this brand until I saw Revain. But we needed a larger size for cutting and cooking watermelon.
