Works for me - kitchen and dining room
I have this to carry meat off the grill and be able to slice meat on it. I see other reviews complaining that it has a raised rim (so it looks like a shallow bowl) that can catch your knife. TRUE. but it is also large enough that this can be avoided. And I wanted the lip to contain meat juices. What makes it great. I removed one star because it is a softer material that seems to scratch easily when cut with a knife. After just a few uses I was left with quite a few marks. But that's a minor annoyance.
