I like this harness to get the attention of my adopted dogs but I would never use it as a main connection point with a dog. A collar or separate harness is MANDATORY as the materials and connection points are not very strong.

This is a very nice harness and fits my adopted Pitbull very well. However, I was only using it for about a month when it started tearing. I wish it had been done better because it definitely got people's attention when they saw it. I've had several people asking about adoption.

Bright yellow draws attention along with dark text contrast. As for the vest, it seems a bit flimsy and I don't think it will last long if it's heavily used. I donated a few to an animal shelter that I volunteer at. For dogs that pull hard I either use a stronger vest with this one for courtship or with a choke chain. I certainly do not rely on a vest loop unless you have a very well behaved dog or a very small one.

I bought this item for my foster dog. While waiting for her potential adoptive parent, we met a small white dog on a leash at a local park. This dog barked at my waiting room and reached out for her. I tugged on her leash and the half ring came loose from the seat belt. My receptionist pounced on the smaller dog, put it in her mouth and shook it.
