Good knife, pleasant grip and good price

The knife was delivered very quickly and arrived earlier than expected. I don't have osteoarthritis. Instead, I bought this knife because I have large hands and wanted the handle of the knife to fit my hand better. The knife is ideal for cutting vegetables. The blade is short for slicing large pieces of meat. I am very happy that I made this purchase.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Clarity

Now two of my favorite knives!

I bought this along with a 5 inch utility knife (which turned out to be my most useful knife). I thought they looked really weird but my arthritic hands make them a lot easier to hold. They are very sharp and appear to be of good quality. I highly recommend them especially if you have arthritis. I think they are also recommended by the Arthritis Foundation.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Something else

This knife is a dream!

This is my third Dexter Russell DuoGlide. As with the other two, the quality is excellent. I have very small hands and other knives slip or spin in my hands when I'm cutting things like sweet potatoes, potatoes, or winter squash. My previous knives were an accident waiting in the wings and actually happened. The handle of these knives is of great importance. To have grip and blade quality? A piece of heaven. Take it? Disc? LAUGH OUT LOUD.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • too boring

I can cut meat again!

I recently had to face the facts: I have arthritis in my right thumb and it's not getting better. This knife is HUGE! For the first time in YEARS I've been able to cut raw chicken thighs and drumsticks without pain! I cook A LOT and this knife is a game changer. Warning: It's VERY sharp and oddly shaped, so be careful when you wash it first. I got a few cuts in the first week but haven't had any problems since.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • mostly ok but...

Good knife, a bit expensive? really not worth every penny.

My wife has been using this knife for 4 months now and says it is a fantastic knife. This is the first knife she pursues. To be honest I was looking for another set of these crappy 8pm knives in all the usual places then I saw this. I asked myself to spend $40 but her birthday was here so I thought I'd buy it. Last weekend I noticed 5 knives in the bin, I said what happened, she replied that I no longer need them, the one I gave her for her birthday did everything they did and he still looks…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The most comfortable knife you will ever have!

I have a whole kitchen full of knives (my husband is a bit of an addict!) but I saw this one (he actually showed me!) and I knew right away it was going to be great knives ! I have chronic pain and the Arthritis Foundation recommends this family of knives and they did not disappoint! It's very sharp straight out of the box, very light and comfortable to hold and much easier for me to trim etc. I liked it so much that I bought a 5 inch Duoglide in this style as well as a trimmer. Both are nice…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
