Shoddy and Disappointing

Based on our own experience, these bits were a complete waste of time and money. The only pro we can think of is that they did arrive on time. The cons, however, are numerous. The bits quickly lost their sharpness and the spade pieces snapped off with minimal use. We cannot recommend these bits to anyone looking for industrial-grade cutting tools.

Pros
  • Fast and efficient drilling thanks to special design and material.
Cons
  • May break or dull quickly with frequent use on hard materials.

Very aggressive - power and hand tools

Used for drilling holes in cable studs. Very aggressive beats. The tips have a threaded tip that pulls the bit into the wood for fast drilling. Make sure you have a drill with enough torque to handle it. My only concern is that the shape of the blades makes them difficult to sharpen, unlike spades which are flat and straight.

Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • unreliable

Now I only use impact drills

Great drills! This is my first set designed to be used with a hammer drill and I love it. The difference between using a regular drill and a hammer drill is like night and day - I'm not going to blow my wrist off hooking the drill, especially when the drill comes out the other side of the 2x4. Also, there isn't much airflow at the back of the tree compared to the kit I used previously. These bits go into wood and even a 1 inch bit can be used with almost no effort. For reference, I use a DeWalt

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Small parts
