WORKS great if you follow the instructions!

they are perfect for my 75th birthday. I use them to drill glass, shells and even grind those things! used several times before it had to be replaced! IMO perfect price for quality! Oh, and I wasn't paid to leave my opinion.

Does the job

drill Hardwood, stone, glass and porcelain/ceramic. I use stone/glass/porcelain/ceramic coolant. Have drilled about 10 pieces with one drill so far but it still cuts quickly and efficiently. stone/porcelain make sure you have a drillable backing (I use acrylic panels) to reduce blow out at the exit.

Pros
  • drill
Cons
  • Expensive

Drilled cleanly through hard river rock/pebble

Had to drill a hole in a small smooth river rock half an inch thick. I'm not sure what type of rock it is (maybe basalt?). I placed the rock in a small bowl of cold water, dropped the drill bit into the dremel and with light pressure let the drill bit do its job, pausing every 20-30 seconds to clean the hole and avoid overheating the prevent drilling. It lasted about 10-12 minutes but ended up being pierced. A few notes: 1 - I tried to center the hole but the drill bit deflected to the side. Iโ€ฆ
