True to size, hard but comfortable removable inner lining.

So far, so good. The leather is of high quality, solidly made even though it is made in China. They are heavier than I thought. I haven't had a pair like this in a long time. I checked out a few other brands while waiting for their arrival and while it seems to me that some of the other brands are very well made and maybe better made than Die Hards, they are also two to three times more expensive. The only thing I don't like about them is the plastic border between the sole and the boot. As…

Anything more made in the USA?

Well, I've been buying and wearing sturdy boots for two decades now. I always buy them in store and always remember that they are made in the USA. My last pair of sole seams came undone leaving a gaping hole inside. I just received a new pair. Made in China. I hope this last.smh

The normal width is too small in the toe area.

I loved these boots They have a great thick outsole with an extra layer of rubber on the bottom , which is nice as it makes you look a bit taller and the foam doesn't wear down as quickly from direct contact with the ground.The big problem/design flaw and problem with the regular widths of these boots is that the design places the big toe at a sharp angle Pushes in for work boots that match your big Z eh pushes in and no one wants to work in these or any other boots that push your big toe in…
