Great quality, works very well!

I love this coffee scale. Trying to guess the amount of french press coffee was a waste of money. Sometimes I under-put and ended up throwing out very watery coffee. Or other times I would put too much in and it would be too strong to even enjoy. It seems very accurate as far as my past usage goes. The display is brightly backlit and very easy to read. Faulty Lighting: Digital Scale

Scale works in terms of timer and weighing to the nearest gram. Adjusting readings as weight gains can be a little slow, but this is not a critical factor. My problem with the scale is that after less than two months of use, the numbers shown on the screen are not fully displayed. In most cases, this does not interfere with exact brewing, since you can understand what these numbers are yourself. With the numbers 7 and 9 it is not clear. Also, it doesn't look very good. Why have I waited? on Measuring Tools & Scales

This scale seemed like overkill to me, but now that I have it - why have I waited? VERY slim and unobtrusive - it doesn't clutter up my kitchen space any more than a kettle, coffee grinder, containers, etc! The kit comes with a rubber mat that fits on top easily and securely, which is nice; easier cleaning, no slipping (surface of the scale is glass). Not required to use, but nice to use. Great for pouring over coffee once you get the hang of it. Measures grams and fluid ounces!

I am using a Revain Basics scale that expired in 2 minutes. Big scale at a great price, but the timeout got really annoying when brewing coffee. The hero gauge is faster, more accurate, and has a longer timeout with the ability to turn it off entirely. Excellent! I also prefer to measure coffee grounds in grams and water in fluid ounces and this scale does a good job. Excellent! The scale also includes timers, both a stopwatch and a countdown. I'd rather use a timer on the scale than a kettle…
