The block would not turn on.

Digital set-top box does not turn on. I tried several times and it wouldn't turn on with the remote or the switch. The television also did not register any input signals coming from the box. I plugged other devices into the same outlet so the outlet wasn't defective. Sent back as defective, money back.

Functional but *extremely* clunky. Fire TV Recast is a much better solution.

This device is working. It is very easy to use and the UI is extremely outdated. We've recently made the decision to move away from cable TV, but still wanted to watch something on TV from time to time, so we looked for a device that offered the ability to record the show. This device will do the trick (if you buy an external hard drive for storage), but it just feels like it needs work. The user interface looks like the best money can buy - from the 1980s. It works out.

I recently cut my cable and since many of the streaming TVs don't have NBC, ABC, CBS mainstream I needed to be able to watch my favorite shows locally. Now that I have that, I added a 32GB flash drive and then plugged it in. You have to scan the channels, I did, the only problem I had was the flimsy stand that came with the flat antenna.
