Efficient Speed Tracker for Industrial Applications

Using this product, our team found that it was a great addition to our industrial and scientific operations. The digital display made it easy to read and the inductive proximity ensured accurate readings. The tachometer saved us time in gathering data and was very easy to install. The only downside was that the user manual wasn't very detailed. Overall, we are impressed with this speed tracker and would recommend it to others in the industry..

Pros
  • Accurate measurement of rotational speed.
Cons
  • Requires contact with rotating object, which may limit its use in certain applications.

Reads nothing but zero

All new shielded cables routed from motors to to the flybridge on my boat. I connected the sensor, magnet and wiring as instructed and the readings have never changed from all zeros. I figured that maybe the shielded wiring wasn't good enough, so I connected the display unit directly to the sensor wiring near the motor and got the same result. This product is cheap junk. Don't waste your time.

Pros
  • Pulse input: NPN/PNP open collector, contact switch, proximity switch, liquid level Pulse input voltage: Low: -30V-0.6V, High: 4-30V
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
