The readings are NOT accurate.

After calibrating this instrument four times, it still gives inconsistent readings. Placing the tool on an incline will give you a reading in degrees, but rotating the tool 180 degrees in the same spot will give you a different reading in degrees. These readings should be the same. No matter which scale you use, the readings will never be the same. Completely useless for my purposes.

One of the two best investments in a long time.

I originally purchased this item to help me with my model train set as recommended by Ron's Trains N Things, but Hurricane Ida forced me to use this item for a different purpose. Half of my nearly new fence was destroyed in a storm and I had to carefully install about a dozen metal posts. A regular level will get you pretty close, but a digital level will kill you 90* vertically. Roofers and Plumbers Attention: the display must not be photographed

The product is generally as advertised. I ordered two of these and both arrived working. However, in my work as an insurer and roof inspector, I use this device to measure the pitch of a roof. The product does as advertised. BUT my work requires me to photograph the display to document the reading for the files. My Canon camera does NOT take a picture of the display! Although my eye does not detect any flicker, the display seems to flicker so much that the camera only captures part of the data…
