After seeing my contractor use a moisture meter to measure the moisture in my walls and kitchen cabinets (after a water leak), I decided to buy this to check my bathroom. I had suspicions about the dampness of the floor and walls. Yes, I was right. I was able to turn on the fans (and the antimicrobials) for a couple of days, monitor them, and watch the humidity drop. Leak found and fixed on slow intake valve. It's nice to know that I'm dry and safe.

This is a great tool to have on hand at all times. I was able to check the moisture in my wood before painting. I was also able to check for leaks or spots where mold might have formed from moisture. This is very good to have in your toolbox for many reasons. I'm really glad I went ahead and got one before starting this latest project. He even came up with additional tips.
