Works as intended - pH meter

Instantly reads tested water to confirm the presence (or absence) of the correct coffee brewing minerals in the water. Works perfectly!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works well with pH meters

Works very well and seems accurate. I liked that it has a slightly different shape than the most typical TDS meters, it's a bit rounded. There are a few things I don't like, there is no backlight and there are only three digits so if you're reading thousands you just have to add a zero.

Pros
  • Great range
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works perfectly. for pH meter

This works great. We make our own colloidal silver and it tests the ppm so we can determine what strength we are producing. It's very easy to use and really couldn't be simpler. The price is very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this counter. You simply open the cap, dip it in the water and hold it for 30-60 seconds. Your parts per million will be displayed. You shake off the water and store it between uses. So easy!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quick guide

At least for relative measurements.

I bought a couple of these TDS meters, both are about the same price and seem to be the same quality. After we tried both in fresh McMaster/Carr deionized (deionized) water, they both showed zero. After trying them both in dirty deionized water currently in an EDM drill, another said 7 and this one said 14. After trying them in a cup of tap water, another said 110 and this one said 230. Although their readings are quite different, I think any of these gauges will work to measure the degradation

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later

Nice tool, but a bit difficult to decipher.

A very handy tool if you know what you are reading. This TDS meter contained no information other than what is written on the outside of the box. Another problem is that the display has no backlight and the numbers are very small, making them very difficult to read. I have included some photos of the box as well as what I found on the internet regarding drinking water and pool readings as without a chart it is impossible to know which readings are good and which are far from normal, or even…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

I suppose that's pretty accurate. I have very hard water, but I also have a water conditioner. So my guess is that the value of 25.9 as shown in the attached photo is (fairly) accurate. Unfortunately I don't have any other quality control tool. However, in the second photo, Arrowhead is testing bottled water at 9:8pm. Based on the comparison and in my opinion, Arrowhead's bottled water tastes better than my tap water. I think the next two metrics I want to find out are whether my Brita carbon…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
