🔥 DII 6-Count White Cotton Dishtowel Collection - Basic Solid Flat Woven, 18 x 28 Inches Review

These are extra large, absorbent, quick drying kitchen towels perfect for drying dishes, pots, pans etc. One criticism of their water absorption made me concerned they might be insufficient ; but all my worries dissipated after using the towels. They dry well, do not leave lint, dry quickly without wrinkles, do not need ironing. These are great kitchen towels.

Don't buy! They come crisp, bright, with no wrinkles, but I've used and washed one and it's completely faded (no longer the pretty navy blue I ordered), wrinkled and minus 2 inches long and -2 inches wide. Washed with Cheer Dark detergent in cold water with other dark garments, dried on same load. The care instructions say ironing. Right? Oh, also not absorbent as advertised.

This is a nice thick cotton. This is where the plus ends. The downside is that I bought them for embroidery on the recommendation of another buyer. They shrink 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. And, like she said, you'll never smooth out the wrinkles. I have a powerful STEAM PRESS and couldn't flatten it. They are also lined very, very crookedly. As such, they're a good all-purpose towel if you don't have expectations. If I didn't have to cut one of these I would return them.

I was hoping they would be similar to the flour sack towels I have but they are thicker and wrinkle very easily. I hope they get better after a few washes. Updated Review: Turns out I'm very happy with these towels. After about three washes, these towels are soft and absorb moisture well. In addition, wrinkles are minimal and can be easily smoothed out. They're really handy because they have a loop to hang them from a hook, I keep one hanging from my kitchen sink all the time.

I buy these embroidery towels regularly and although flimsy they work well. The last batch I received was significantly cheaper in appearance. The top towel in the photo is a previous order. The new order has a MUCH looser fabric. It appears to have fewer threads per inch. And the "white" new towel is definitely duller and less white. If the towels are like this from now on, I will look for a new towel supplier. I am VERY disappointed with this latest delivery.

Used to make gifts. They turned out great and are doing great in the kitchen. I'm giving them 4 stars because they weren't cut/tailored very well. The fabric is good quality but I wish they looked a little better because I gave them away. The seams are all strong and well washed, but they weren't "rectangles". I use some in my kitchen and love having them. I would still consider buying them again for myself but will consider other options when making other gifts.

I didn't buy it for sewing etc but for real use. It takes up practically nothing. I'm not even sure if they are in the "towel" category. I will say the color is beautiful and they seem to wash well. My wife has always complained about me ruining her towels as I usually cook with one of them all the time so we decided to get some for me. I chose red to make them easy to find. Complete disappointment. The reviews vary so much that I wonder if we all got the same thing. Those are horrible towels…

Not sure what has changed but they are different. When I first ordered them I thought I had found the perfect durable and simple 100% cotton kitchen towels. I use them every day and love them, great texture and feel. Now they don't look so much like cotton, they look more like a polycotton blend. While they're actually still 100% cotton, the quality has changed a bit - a new set of towels just moves the item you want to put away. I'm disappointed because the other kitchen towels were perfect. Nice, durable vintage style cotton towels - perfect for my needs. I bought these towels to hand embroider designs onto them and then give them as treasured gifts. Before working with them, I prewashed and dried them. There was almost no shrinkage; In fact, the towels were slightly oversized to compensate for shrinkage.
