DII Machine Washable Resistant Kitchen Review

DII Cotton Lake House Fish Oven Potholders should not be sold as potholders. They are too thin and don't have enough padding to protect your hands from the heat. Another missed opportunity to make your thumb the mouth of a fish. Instead, it looks like a weird fin genetic mutation. Tried to take the pan out of the oven (350 degrees) and immediately dropped the sheet pan. They can be good for getting freshly washed dishes out of the dishwasher, but not hotter.

super thick! Nice and long so your hands don't burn. They smell a little like they came off a container ship. And they were made in India. that might explain the smell. It's not bad. It's just palpable. I'm sure they will take on a new smell after a few days in the kitchen. Colors are very dull and muted. I was hoping for a bright looking fish, he looks old. One review warned they don't protect your hands from the heat, but I ordered them anyway because I wanted a duckbill-fingered potholder and extra long to fit mine to protect hands when I take the pans out of the oven. They do NOT protect from heat as stated in another review BUT I have improved mine by adding silicone oven fingertips to the fish oven mitts - I had to trim the silicone a bit to fit the fish heads but now they protect mine Hands from the heat and I've got cute fish potholders!
