Dimensions 72 70023 Flowers Needle Embroidery Review

I bought a Mandela pattern. I bought this set to practice needlepointing. The set is not the best quality. The fabric is cheap, not the standard monastery fabric. The yarn is cut into threads, so you have to constantly thread the needle. Also, I was missing some colors in my set. According to the instructions, a 2.2 mm needle should be used. I'm only giving 2 stars because I like the drawing.

This is exactly the set I bought from Joanna. I did this to get the pattern onto the loop and that was it. The yarn is so thick that when I tried to thread the needle I broke the needle threader and it doesn't really work. The yarn, even if divided into three parts as indicated, is too thick for the loops to remain. I go back to Joanna and match the color to the real embroidery thread. I might as well just buy fabric and draw a picture from the internet.

I couldn't get a single stitch to stay in this one. I thought it was because I'm relatively new to threading, but now I see I had the same issues as the other reviewer - to the point that the thick thread broke my needle threader. I have completed other perforating needle sets quite well. This kit CANNOT be used in packaged form. I can't even return it or get a refund because of course I didn't know it was poorly made until I opened it and tried to make it. I am very dissatisfied with this kit…
