Didn't use the fabric or thread provided (I wanted to make it bridal colors) but the pattern was great. This was my second cross stitch and the first time I had to count (my first project was a fabric print). I found it funny and very easy to understand. It turned out amazing and I still have fabric/thread to make another one!

I bought this kit as my first "real" cross stitch project. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, even for a beginner, and the result is a beautiful and easily framed piece. When preparing the finished product for framing/mounting I highly recommend using a light towel between the fabric and the iron as it is heat sensitive and can burn easily. The newlyweds told me this is their favorite gift!

The pattern itself is not for beginners as it contains more than the standard cross and quarter stitches - some border areas cover 3-4 squares to fill in color patches. I used their Aida material on something else and found a nice 16k piece for the design. Sizes are known to save piping fabric. I bought two of their larger designs - both only allowed 2 inches for the rim instead of the usual 3 inches. However, when finished, the pattern is pretty good.

I love the modern look of this design, especially the italics for happy ending. Like many others, I change the color to the colors of the bride. Somehow I miscalculated, but it turned out that there was not enough floss in the kit. I've run out of Krenik, and considering how many times I've used my own thread, I highly doubt it would be enough if I'd stuck to the original colors. As other reviews indicate this is a very elegant wonderful table and makes a great gift for a happy couple BUT. It doesn't matter how careful you are with the floss. LIKE OTHER SIGNATORS, I HAVE TO BUY A SECOND SET TO GET ENOUGH THREAD TO COMPLETE THE TABLE, BUT STILL HAVE TO MAKE CHANGES BECAUSE EVEN THE SECOND SET WAS NOT ENOUGH FINE SILVER THREAD. I DON'T KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY DIMENSIONS GLOSSY FROM LOCAL RETAIL AGENCIES AND DMC EQUIVALENTS WERE NOT ENOUGH TO WORK ON TIGHT EMBROIDERED AREAS…
