Almost exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a journal to write down cross stitch ideas, but the pages in this journal are not lined, so sketching out ready-made ideas is better than just making quick notes. I like the cover very much and I now sew it in cross stitch.

Nice and fun idea. But a few tips. Carefully and quickly remove the plastic tab from inside the back cover. This requires a lot more thread than you might think as the cover is very thick so make sure you have enough before you start. And if you have a lot of thread I would recommend using 3 threads instead of 2. This will make it lighter as less of the brown coating shows through the stitches. Also, be careful with your needles.
