Brighter than my old under cabinet halogen lights

I bought these to replace the 20w halogen bulbs that came with my kitchen under cabinet light. These are 3000K bulbs so they're a little less warm than standard 2300K bulbs, but I think it makes it easier to see the work area underneath, which I like. In my opinion they are also a bit brighter than the 20w halogen bulbs they replaced. LEDs are the same length and width as halogens (see picture). Save you $$$ and the lighting will look the same!

They save a lot of energy compared to the lamps they replaced. The original lightbulbs heated up in a matter of seconds to the point where they could not be touched. These LED bulbs don't even get hot. Heat = electricity consumption - original lamp 35W - LED lamp 3W - difference 32W. Leaving this lightbulb on for 450 hours will pay for itself in energy savings. 32 watts x 450 hours = 14,400 ÷ 1,000 = 14.4 kWh x $0.13 per kWh = $1.87, which is roughly the cost of this lightbulb. Great upgrade of old halogen bulbs

I've decided not to write a review - over 800 already, really need another one. I'm continuing because I'm so impressed with these LED light bulbs that I just couldn't resist putting my two cents in! I have under cabinet lighting in 4 areas of my kitchen, 3 of which are definitely 'work areas' so good lighting is vital to me. The old halogen lamps gave enough light but generated a lot of heat.
