Bright light, bad switch position. Aggravating.

Neat light. There is a good amount of light and can be dimmed. I gave it 3 stars only because of the following.1. It's extremely sensitive. When you turn it on or off, you should touch it lightly. It's annoying when you have to watch how much pressure you're applying to the toich.2 switch. That's my biggest problem. The touch switch is about 6 inches from the outlet. So while I have it installed on my desk, I have to get up and walk to an outlet to turn it on and off. Why didn't they put theโ€ฆ

Plug the end of the USB cable in a different way than shown in the product images.

Attention! Most detailed images show the switch on the light end of the cable. The one I received is on the USB end of the cable. If you want to use it on a table or workbench and plug it in, the switch is not available. I bought this product expecting the switch to be on the light end of the cord. The seller stated that all the newer models have a switch on the USB end of the cable and they have several on the light end and they sent me one of these. If you can use a light with a switch on the

I bought this light bar for my desk drawer that slides down to allow keyboard and mouse access on my desktop computer. It was too dark in my drawer to see the keys on the keyboard without the "spotlight" on above my head. Too bright to work on my computer, so I needed an "in-a-box" solution. This light strip works great! I bought double sided mirrored sponge tape to tape to the underside of my desk. When I open the drawer, I hit the power button, which is great. The on/off switch is now about 3 inches from the lamp itself (instead of the USB end). Used as a light under a shelf in a cage computer Very bright light and easy to turn on and off Two methods of installation: one using suction cups (didn't work for me) and the other using a magnetic mount with self-adhesive tape included Metal plates for the magnet.
