Too hot, good for power and electronics

This switch got hot and only used 54 watts. The switch does not have an upper or lower breakpoint for reference. It spins endlessly clockwise or counterclockwise instead of having a start point and an end point, although tubes/diodes obviously have their own min/max values.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Better and cheaper than others

Works very well. Much less bulky than the more expensive dimmer I recently bought (it had an on/off switch and a dimmer slider). It looks modern, the rotary switch is comfortable to hold - small latches adjust the setting. Press slightly to turn on/off. Saves your previous setting. Goodbye.

BIG WASTE OF TIME! suitable for indoor lighting

Why is it so difficult to buy something good now? I bought 2 of these and installed the first one and it got so hot you couldn't touch it. If he has completely destroyed himself and now does not switch off. DO NOT buy this piece of junk, it will burn your house/van to the ground. I only had 6 low draw LEDs connected to it. I'll try to get them both back.

Pros
  • ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Clarity

does what it should

works perfectly, press on and off, turn to dim with each press, moves a little closer until it no longer has enough travel, then you should pull the handle back to restore enough spring travel for the switch to work. Not the end of the world, but annoying but easy to fix.

Pros
  • stylish and modern design
Cons
  • expensive

Strange product size but it works.

In case you're wondering, the 2" x 1 7/8" bare bezel dimensions of the device are crazy when you're trying to fit it into a standard outlet. It works as advertised provided you plug it into a 12v supply and not a 120v house voltage like some people might burn down their own RV.

Pros
  • Convenience Part
Cons
  • Some Cons

Amplifier rating is inaccurate

It says it's rated for 6 amps, it's not. I drew 4.3 amps with a 5 amp fuse, 2 LED strips. When they were at full brightness it got very hot, very worried. In the end he just melted the wire and didn't turn off the light. I unplugged the switch and took it apart to find it. It's 18 gauge wire, so if you buy it I wouldn't draw more than a few amps. But I definitely wouldn't buy it.

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Not the best
