We ordered them when we realized we didn't have enough salad and appetizer plates. It costs the same to buy this complete set instead of 25 of each item. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything. This is comparable to others that cost more. We used them for a turkey and ham dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, etc. that held up well. The cutlery didn't have a crafting bar that would dig into the palm like other companies' cutlery. You accidentally put it in the microwave. DO NOT TURN ON
