I got what I paid for.

Oh my god it has slow autofocus, I was expecting it to be the same or even faster than the other controller I have because mine kinda broke. When throttled it is very sluggish and with no known hub gear adjustment patterns it took me a few tries to get it working. All in all I got what I paid for. It's my fault for not doing more research before purchasing.

Use on not so Super 73 Z1

I used this kit to get my broken Super 73 Z1 working again. His throttle stick broke and the controller burned out. The new controller was half the size. The color of the phase wires and the hall sensor wires matched the hub motor. As mentioned in another review, the pedal assist sensor is mislabeled. I installed the sensor on the right (drive) side with the arrow pointing in the direction of rotation. In this orientation, the magnet wheel attached to the carriage axle must be set to rotate inโ€ฆ

Not bad for the money. Instructions would be nice

Used this to repair a friend's Sand Viper e-bike after it fell off the trailer. The controller schematic seems accurate, but don't connect the smart wire to anything as it will cause the motor to behave strangely. I assume it must be for calibration, but it caused the motor to turn without the wheel turning. There was a short in the meter connector so I spliced the cable myself but it took me a while to figure it out. I also had to solder the motor housing wires. The knobs/brake levers appearโ€ฆ
