My current AM antenna has two black wires. The replacement antenna has a black wire and a white wire. I'm not sure which one goes where in my receiver. I tried inserting them and toggling them back and forth but none of the configurations worked. Any suggestions?

Great AM/FM antenna. I bought a used Sony A/V receiver for my backyard speaker system and the seller couldn't find an antenna so I bought these, they fit perfectly and I take full advantage of the receiver's tuner. Simple, inexpensive, as if you bought a new pad in the store. Works great.

VHF antenna greatly improved reception. My system is installed on the first floor of my two story ranch home. I'm mainly interested in only two stations: WETA from Hagerstown and WBJC from Baltimore. Works well with my 10 year old Denon AM/FM tuner! You need to unfold the VHF antenna and tilt it properly to get a good signal. I also find that some of the lights I have at home cause quite a bit of interference, so I have to turn off some of the lights if I want to listen to FM radio.
