I installed the product but after riding I went to check the oil. The red handle was very hot. I burned my fingers. I had to use a towel to hold the red handle, not a good product for me

I'm incredibly glad I found and bought this. The rubberized tip of the stock dipstick drove me nuts and made me gas over the oil level too often. Now it's easy, empty holes = low, full holes = full.

Garbage! DEFECTIVE AFTER 4 MONTHS! This dipstick is captioned "NON BREAK" but the tip broke off when I tried to pull it out of the dipstick tube - AND THE TIP STAYS IN THE ENGINE! I had to stop driving, remove the oil pan which required removing the passenger wheel and fender liner - WOW!

quality probe! Doesn't solve @hand's problem, but that's not the dipstick's fault. The problem is that the design of the mini dipstick and tube is by far the worst I've seen! The only way to correct the situation is a completely new process and design of the motor pipe and oil dipstick (which will probably never happen). It's easier to read than the original. The slim design takes some getting used to. Don't buy it with the hope or expectation that it will fix a bad factory putter design.

This item would have been 5 stars if there weren't two major issues: 1. Make sure the tip of the oil level gauge is securely attached to the flexible cable before use. It came off at the first oil check when wiping with a rag. Luckily I was able to put it back on and everything has been fine so far. For reliable fixation, it should be welded.
