A good product. suitable for network products

no frills, everything works as described. I was able to use this and connect it to a WiFi router to get a better signal in my home office.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • almost everything ok

Great for MOCA networks, VERY affordable!

CAT5/6 cabling was never installed in my old house. Instead of spending tons of time on disconnects and troubleshooting, I decided to set up a MOCA network using the existing COAX infrastructure since I don't use cable TV. Most MOCA adapters are extremely overpriced and since I needed at least 10 I looked for an alternative. Here are the DirecTV 'DECA' adapters! The work is phenomenal and the prices are very fair! I have an adapter that powers three other adapters so almost 25 wired devicesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Out of fashion

DECA was easy to install and works as expected

So far so good. I didn't have to contact tech support, so I couldn't give a single star. If I ever need to use them I will update my review. I got help from my neighbor to determine which wire was active in my house for the room I installed the deck in as I had never used it before, but that was a different issue. The deck itself was easy to hook up and appears to be working as stated by the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Speed

Excellent MOCA adapter, the best among network adapters

Works great as a cheap MOCA adapter Highly recommended as it combines the same features as other MOCA adapters at a fraction of the cost . See a constant speed of 100MB up and down!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Very slow speed - practically useless

I bought a couple of these devices to try to provide a stable internet connection in an area with intermittent Wi-Fi coverage where it's not that easy to get a to establish an Ethernet connection. but the cable wiring is already there. I tried connecting them using the existing wiring in my house but couldn't connect. My computer showed that it was connected, but the device's IP address is invalid. So I tried a "best case" test by connecting the pairs together with 6 foot coax cable. I testedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Exchange availability

The USB power delivery option does not work. The rest is perfect.

Used to extend Ethernet over existing coaxial cable;. I don't have cable TV so there is no interference and they cost 1/10th the price of comparable MoCa adapters. The only downside is that they can presumably be powered via the included AC adapter *or* USB; However, I couldn't get the USB option to work despite trying multiple cables and USB devices.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Unsafe

Great for a hardwired connection on a budget.

I ordered this for my boyfriend to get a wired connection for online gaming because his wifi isn't the best. These adapters serve the same purpose as MOCAs and are so wired I can't tell the difference. I highly recommend it if you are away from your router and need a wired connection. I would definitely spend a little more and invest in CAT 6 Ethernet cables to accompany them. Overall a great product.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost never
