Works for Ethernet to Coax Adapter Gen 2

I have a DirectTV DECA Ethernet to Coax Adapter Gen 2. They are bi-directional so coax to ethernet is the same device. They don't even have to be used in pairs. With this splitter you can split them on the coax side. I use 3 outputs and close the other. I have Ethernet almost everywhere in my house to counteract jammers from my neighbors. I'm sure some people have boosters for 2GHz. And 5Hz is strange because of the adaptive channel search of all routers. I cut the cable a long time ago so this

Pros
  • Diode Controlled Protection
Cons
  • Legacy Model

I found these DirecTV splitters to be excellent build quality with very good loss and bandwidth characteristics Bandwidth. I don't use splitters for DirecTV, but to distribute terrestrial television with MoCA network (D-band, between 1150 and 1500 MHz) in the house. I installed something very similar at my mother in law's house and used a DC feedthrough to power the preamp on the antenna mast. Anything that requires the use of quad shielded RG6 coaxial cable will do a great job with these…

Pros
  • 500mA DC through just one port
Cons
  • Expensive

Works as intended if you know how to connect it. A standard (common) splitter will not work with a DirecTV satellite signal, but it will work if you know how to use it. What I didn't realize upon arrival was that the first connector (the one marked 'Power Pass') had to be plugged into a working DirecTV decoder in order for the other three connectors to work. I originally split the signal into three different rooms, but didn't actually have a box connected to the line end of the first port. No…

Pros
  • Ground connection present
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly
